20 Bulgarian breweries will offer a taste of their unique beer recipes at the Hops Street festival, to be held at the NDK (National Palace of Culture) in central Sofia at the end of the week - September 27, 28 and 29.
There will be a wide range of beers to sample, both modern and traditional, and the brewers themselves will be behind the stalls pouring their beers. The organisers promise that there will also be agricultural products to nibble on with your beer. Beer-making demonstrations, traditional trahana (cracked wheat and milk breakfast) cooking, games with tasting, a chilli-eating competition and many other activities are planned.
