The Speaker of the National Assembly, Raya Nazaryan, would convene an extraordinary session if one-fifth of the MPs proposed specific topics and points of discussion.

In Kyustendil, where she is a guest of the Fertility Festival, Raya Nazaryan said that the rules allow her to schedule the meeting. "I cannot guarantee, however, that the building of the National Assembly would not be destroyed," she said, alluding to the acts of vandalism that accompanied the last session of the 50th National Assembly.

On September 26, representatives of "Vazrazhdane" and ITN blocked the parliamentary rostrum and tried to tear out the cables of the sound system with the request for cancelling the discussion of the updated Roadmap for climate neutrality and the changes in the Recovery and Resilience Plan.

"Those who sabotaged the work of the last meeting in the most ugly way must bear their responsibility and give an answer to the miners from Maritsa-East how they will guarantee their salaries in the coming months, as well as what their future will be." Raya Nazaryan also said.
