Weather forecast for Monday: Precipitation stops but temperatures remain low

On Monday, there will still be showers in the eastern half of the country. It will stop raining by the evening. Clouds will break in the western part of the country. It will be mostly sunny in Southwestern Bulgaria in the afternoon. There will be moderate and temporarily strong westerly and northwesterly wind, which will begin to subside by evening. Maximum temperatures will range from 11°C-13°C in the northeastern regions to 17°C-19°C in Western Bulgaria and the Upper Thracian Plain, for Sofia around 13°C.

It will be mostly cloudy and windy in the mountains. Rain is also in the forecast. It will snow above 1,900 meters. Significant precipitation is expected in the Central Balkan, Sredna Gora, Sakar and Strandzha Mountains. There will be strong northwesterly and northerly wind. Maximum temperatures at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 8°C, at 2,000 meters- around 3°C.

It will be cloudy and windy over the Black Sea coast. Rain is also expected. Significant precipitation is expected along the northern Black Sea coast. There will be strong and gale force northerly and northwesterly wind. Daytime highs will reach 15°C-17°C. The seawater temperature is 22°C-23°C. Sea state 3-4.
