Vezenkov takes Olympiacos to latest triumph

Bulgaria’s top basketball player Aleksandar Vezenkov earned his first trophy after his return to the Greek Olympiacos, with his performance contributing to the victory of the team versus its biggest rival Panathinaikos in a match for the supercup of the country.  

The match ended in 86:85, with the Bulgarian player scoring 20 points, 15 of which in the second halftime. Tyler Dorsey assisted Vezenkov with his 19 points. Aleksander Vezenkov was also chosen most valuable player and also top scorer in the tournament which Olympiacos won for the third time. After the match, the Bulgarian player, who returned to Greece after playing for NBA for a year, said he would like to see Olympiacos and Panathinaikos playing against one another in the Euroleague finals.
