Toma Zdravkov is a familiar voice in Bulgarian rock music. After a string of appearances in TV shows he is now back to writing and recording new songs. After presenting his songs “Napred” (Forward) and “Belezi” (Scars), he is now releasing “Razkazvay mi neshto” (Tell me some story).
In Tell me some story, Toma once again works together with Rumen Gaydev-Garo who authored the music and the lyrics. For the arrangement, he turned to Ivan Shopov whom he considers to be unrivalled when it comes to conceptual arrangements. The energy in this team is what gave this song its specific country rock sound.
“I wanted it to sound like when you are coming home from a holiday by the sea, or up in the mountain, or wherever you had priceless moments of respite, of relaxation and nirvana, and when you are travelling home the song will remind you of those moments. It is actually a story of summer,” Toma Zdravkov says.
