The National History Museum celebrates the 130th anniversary of the birth of Tsar Boris III with the exhibition "Tsar Boris III. Personality and Statesman". It will be opened today in the central lobby of the museum. The exhibition will present, in chronological order, original documents and unique objects, ornaments, awards, uniforms and others, significant for Bulgarian history, illustrating the life path of Tsar Boris.

"The photographs - an objective testimony of the time, reflect the private life and statesmanship of the monarch, his love for nature, science and technology, his popularity among the people," the museum notes.

Tsar Boris III rules Bulgaria in an environment of acute political and social conflicts after two national catastrophes. The monarch overcomes the difficulties he faces and stabilizes the state. He imposes a reasonable and cautious foreign policy and has indisputable merits for the return of Southern Dobrudja to the borders of Bulgaria in the fall of 1940, the National History Museum points out.

The exhibition is carried out in partnership with the State Agency "Archives" and the National Polytechnic Museum.
