Flu cases expected to peak in December

“There are cases of COVID-19”, former head of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases Todor Kantardzhiev said in an interview with Nova TV. Professor Kantardzhiev noted that currently people have mild symptoms and the virus lasts only a few days. According to Todor Kantardzhiev, people with immune deficiencies and the elderly need to be more cautious.

 In Professor Kantardzhiev's words, there are many cases of other viruses as well. ''Masks should be used and rooms should be ventilated when many people gather together'', said Todor Kantardzhiev and added that that influenza is expected in November and that flu cases are expected to peak in December.
