On 9 October, caretaker PM Dimitar Glavchev is taking part in the summit Ukraine-Southeastern Europe taking place in Croatia.

Support for Ukraine will be in the focus of the forum in Dubrovnik, where PM Glavchev will confirm the position of Bulgaria which has consistently been supporting Ukraine, the government press service has announced.

Meanwhile, Germany signed a subsidiary agreement to the contract with Diehl Defence - the company manufacturing the IRIS-T air defence systems, which will deliver the air defence systems to Bulgaria. The annex brings down the transaction price because of the howitzers Bulgaria sent to Ukraine. The subsidiary agreement is from 7 October between the Germany’s Federal Ministry of Defence and the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence under the EU European Sky Shield initiative.
