Bulgarian Tsvetan Ivanov wins the "Best Sandwich" award at the European Street Food Awards Finale in Germany

27-year-old Tsvetan Ivanov-Choni, winner of the European Street Food Awards Bulgaria competition, won the "Best Sandwich" award at the European Street Food Awards Finale in Saarbrücken, Germany, in competition with participants from 17 countries, bgtourism.bg reports. 

Tsvetan Ivanov, who graduated from National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" says that he has been passionate about cooking for as long as he can remember, as his parents are restaurateurs. He won the competition with two types of focaccia—white focaccia and whole grain focaccia with rye, spelt and pumpkin seeds. The focaccia was topped with homemade cream cheese, herbs, truffle, mortadella, pistachios, stracciatella and other ingredients.
