On Monday, October 21, repair works will start in the Romanian section of the Danube Bridge linking Ruse and Giurgiu, the Romanian authorities report. The facility will not be closed completely, BNR correspondent in Ruse, Asya Pencheva, informed. According to preliminary estimates, the repair works should be completed by December 1.

We recall that in July this year, a phased overhaul of the Danube bridge near Ruse started without stopping traffic. The repairs are expected to be completed for a period of two years.
