GALLUP: According to 57% of Bulgarians, the outcome of the US elections will affect Bulgaria

There is a presidential election coming up in the US, the outcome of which will have a significant impact on a global scale. On this occasion, the polling agency "Gallup International" conducted a poll in 43 countries about the attitudes towards Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Gallup International Balkan joined the survey, investigating the attitudes of Bulgarians on the topic. 

The results show that if Bulgarians faced with the electoral dilemma "Donald Trump or Kamala Harris", the majority would prefer Trump. He would get 49% and Harris - 36%. Just 15% of respondents do not state a preference for any of the candidates. At the same time, the majority of Bulgarians (57%) say that the battle for the White House is of essential importance for their country and will influence what is happening in the economic and political spheres. Just 12% said that events overseas would not have such an impact, while 7% rated the impact as small.

On an international scale, Donald Trump's supporters are most numerous in Serbia - 59%, while Kamala Harris’ supporters in Denmark reach 85%.
