Instead of calming society, the announcement of the election results generated tensions and raised questions about how fair the elections have been, says President Rumen Radev in a position on the early election for parliament, the presidential press service has announced.

“How is it possible that the growing number of reports of vote-buying and manipulations of the vote can be seen by all but go unnoticed by the relevant institutions? Have public authorities been used to pressure mayors and businesses to go and vote as they have been told? Has the criminal contingent been used to “harvest” votes? Which is the political force and who is the political leader using such nefarious practices,” asks Rumen Radev and goes on to demand answers of the caretaker government, the Interior Ministry and the special services.
