Bulgaria’s successes at international science Olympiads in 2024 can be seen in an exposition entitled “Fantastic minds”. Inaugurated to mark Awakeners” (Enlighteners”) Day, 1 November on Lovers’ Bridge near the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, the exposition will be on until 15 November, say the organizers from the Natural Sciences Olympic Teams Association (NSOTA).

The exhibition is a special edition of a project called “My awakeners” dedicated to the Bulgarian national Olympic teams in mathematics, physics, chemistry, informatics, biology, linguistics, astronomy and astrophysics, AI.

The exposition traces Bulgaria’s contribution to the development of science among young people in the world with the establishment of some of the Olympiads, among them the International Olympiad in Informatics (set up in 1989) and the International Olympiad in AI (set up in 2024).

After 15 November the exposition will visit Sofia Airport, the St. Kliment Ohridski university in Sofia and some of the towns around the country the Olympians come from.
