ATP: Grigor Dimitrov - the tennis player with the deadliest forehand

The forehand of the best Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov is a real cannon, writes ATP. ATP Infosys Beyond The Numbers analysis of average stroke speed and spin, based on the performance of top 10 players over the past three seasons, shows that no one has a more explosive forehand than the 33-year-old Bulgarian. 

The forehand speed data is broken down by surface type and reports that Grigor Dimitrov plays the highest average forehand speed on outdoor hard courts, indoor hard courts and clay. 

The average forehand speed of the Top 10 players is 75 mph or 120 km/h. Grigor Dimitrov, whose best ranking was #3 at the end of 2017, is the only one in the world to reach the 128.75 km/h mark.
