Khaalia Hillsman from USA to play for the Bulgarian national basketball team

The players of the Bulgarian women's national basketball team have welcomed American Khaalia Hillsman, who has recently received Bulgarian citizenship. She will play for the Bulgarian team for the first time next week and joins the team's camp in Sofia, the Bulgarian Basketball Federation announced.

Hillsman was warmly welcomed by all the basketball players and the coaching staff, as coach Tanya Gateva symbolically handed her the jersey with her number - 00. Gateva commented that everyone in the team is ambitious for a good performance in the upcoming visits to Hungary on November 7 and Finland on November 10 and expect the first victory in the qualifiers for EuroBasket 2025.
