If the political crisis continues, the lost benefits will reach a threshold after which the Bulgarian business will begin to lose competitiveness due to growing deficits in education, healthcare, infrastructure, regional development and demographics. This was what President Rumen Radev said at the ceremony for announcing the winners of the 17th edition of "Manager of the Year" competition.

President Radev presented the award to Jesus Caballero, CEO of SOF Connect, which is the operator of Sofia Airport. Jesus Caballero said this was the best recognition for his team. "I have a vision to turn Sofia Airport into a regional hub and the first five-star airport in Europe," Caballero said and pointed out that with a capacity of 20 million passengers per year, after the completion of Terminal 3, it will be the airport with the largest capacity in the Balkans.
