A government can be formed without DPS – A New Beginning, the  Alliance for Rights and Freedoms, Vazrazhdane and MECH. All others can form a government, GERB leader Boyko Borissov said before the inaugural session of the 51st National Assembly. "All others can form a government – GERB-SDS, We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria, BSP-United Left and There is Such a People. Such a government can only be led by me", Boyko Borissov went on to say.

It is possible to form a government without GERB, Delyan Peevski and Ahmed Dogan, Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov said in the National Assembly. "The only stable government that can exist is a government with Vazrazhdane. If PP-DB really want to isolate GERB and DPS, this is the only option – to support Vazrazhdane," Kostadinov said.
