The people's representatives have made a third unsuccessful attempt to elect their chair. The political forces once again put forward five candidacies. Only ITN changed its proposal, nominating the oldest MP and its member Silvi Kirilov, who temporarily heads the plenary sessions.

Once again, Raya Nazaryan, nominated by GERB-SDS, and Andrey Tsekov - from "PP -DB" reached the runoff. Only the MPs from her coalition voted for Nazaryan, while Tsekov received the votes of the representatives of PP-DB and the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms. The smallest party MECH, which until now supported all the candidacies except that of GERB-SDS, voted "against" this time.

The next attempt to elect a parliamentary speaker will be made on Wednesday, November 20.
