The Bulgarian Head of State's objections are against the abolition of the ban on dual citizenship as a compulsory condition for the eligibility of deputies and the introduction of the principle of the continuity of the mandate of deputies and the parliament, which is not consistent with other existing provisions and leads to the fact that candidates for MPs can be sitting MPs at the same time.
