The coalition We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB), which came second in the October 27 parliamentary elections, has accepted an invitation for negotiations from the first political force - GERB-SDS.
"After seven parliamentary elections, dialogue between the two main political forces is a necessary responsibility to Bulgarian citizens," the PP-DB said. PP co-leader Assen Vassilev pointed out that the PP-DB was not backing down from its demand to create a so-called "sanitary cordon" around Delyan Peevski, the leader of DPS-New Beginning, who has been sanctioned for corruption under the Magnitsky Act.

The coalition proposes that the meeting should be open to the public and include the participation of the leaders.
