For the 13th consecutive year, homeless people in the town of Ruse will receive a free hot meal during the winter months. The social kitchen of the Bulgarian Red Cross opens its doors again in the biggest Bulgarian city on the Danube River. It has a capacity of 40 people.
Homeless people will receive hot meals and food packages with canned food. Volunteers will provide health, psychological and legal assistance to those in need. The Bulgarian Red Cross in Ruse has called on the local residents to offer financial support or donate food products (canned goods) to continue feeding people in need at least until the end of March. Donations can be dropped off at the local office of the organization at 10 Pliska Street.
