Boyko Borisov: There is no chance for GERB-SDS, PP-DB, BSP-United Left and ITN to form a cabinet

Boyko Borissov

The chairman of GERB Boyko Borisov once again stated that the winning formula for forming a regular government is for it to be supported by GERB-SDS, “We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria”, “BSP – United Left” and ITN. However, he clarified that there is no chance of this happening.

“With “We Continue the Change” it is difficult to talk about anything, since they do not take into account anything of what we have done together”, commented Boyko Borisov on the sidelines of parliament.

Today, the MPs are making their seventh attempt to elect their chairman.

The leader of GERB also spoke out sharply about a television interview with Nikolay Denkov, in which the former prime minister said that Boyko Borisov should not be thanked for Bulgaria’s admission to Schengen. "I want to remind him that the Schengen negotiations were led by Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel and Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov," Boyko Borisov replied.
