The leader of “МРФ – New Beginning” Delyan Peevski has expressed his readiness to take the post of prime minister. “When we are the first party, I will form a government,” he said on the sidelines of the National Assembly.

“If the Bulgarians give the responsibility to “MRF – New Beginning” to form a government, we will not run away like ITN to throw away our mandate. I promise this, if we are second – we will look for options,” Delyan Peevski also said.

According to the MP, the current parliament is “over” and the parties in it must agree on when to hold the next early elections. According to him, in the plenary hall, the disputes over the election of the speaker come down to who loves whom, who has cheated on whom.

Delyan Peevski refused to answer a journalist's question about whether GERB leader Boyko Borisov made a mistake by stating that he would return the first mandate to form a government, but assured that if given the opportunity, he would form a cabinet, without specifying with whom.
