The coalition BSP-United Left, which placed fifth in the parliamentary elections held on October 27, is starting a series of negotiations to gather support for its candidate for the position of Speaker of the 51st National Assembly, Natalia Kiselova, and to discuss the legislative priorities of the new parliament, BNR learned from its sources. Today, BSP-United Left will meet with GERB-SDS and PP-DB.

In the eight attempt to elect a National Assembly Speaker, GERB-SDS withdrew their candidate and supported Natalia Kiselova, emphasizing that they were making a "big compromise''. "If BSP-United Left garners a majority outside Vazrazhdane and Movement for Rights and Freedoms-New Beginning, then in the runoff GERB will give its support", GERB leader Boyko Borissov said before the procedure.

The meetings are expected to continue tomorrow. Invitations have been sent to all parliamentary formations, except for Movement for Rights and Freedoms-New Beginning headed by Delyan Peevski.
