Weather forecast for 5 December

Cloudy skies and snowfall in the mountains

On Thursday temperatures will range from 1 to 5°C, with a low of 2°C in Sofia. In the morning, visibility may be reduced. The day will be cloudy. There will be light rain first in the east and later in the day in the west. Highs will be between 5°C and 10°C, around 5°C in the capital.

In the mountains it will be cloudy with light snowfall in places. The maximum temperature will be 3°C at 1,200 m, around minus 2°C at 2,000 m.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy with occasional showers. Maximum temperatures will be 8-9°C. The sea temperature will be 11-12°C. The sea swell will be 2-3.

Friday will be cloudy, and rainy in northern Bulgaria. 

The western parts of the Balkan will be overcast. Rain and snow are forecast. In Greece, the rain will be particularly heavy and persistent. 

Temperatures will be 17°C in Athens, 7°C in Bucharest, 5°C in Belgrade and 12°C in Istanbul.
