Prominent figures in the fields of culture, education and science receive the Presidential Badge of Honor

Bulgarian Head of State Rumen Radev presented the Presidential Badge of Honor to prominent figures with significant achievements in the fields of culture, education and science. Among those awarded are:

Vasil Vassilev - journalist and chairman of the All-Bulgarian Committee "Vasil Levski"; famous Bulgarian musician and composer Vasil Petrov on the occasion of his 60th anniversary; Viktor Lilov - one of our most successful olympiad competitors in natural sciences; Vladislav Katsarski - founder, producer and general director of the "Braille FM" radio, which helps the integration of people with visual impairments in Bulgaria; Kiril Petsev - publicist and public figure; folk singer Ruska Stoimenova with a significant contribution to the preservation of the singing tradition and folk songs from the Macedonian folklore region; Dr. Hajar Fiyuzi – lecturer in Persian language with academic merits to the development of Iranian studies in Bulgaria, on the occasion of her 90th anniversary.
