Internet trading scam with a Bulgarian trail uncovered in Greece

Hundreds of customers in Greece have reported fraudulent deliveries of parcels they never ordered. Upon investigation, the authorities discovered that the sender was a Bulgarian company based in Sofia. The scheme involves cracking the codes of customers who order from other companies on the internet and sending them parcels they have never ordered. 

The goods are paid for on delivery and most customers do not open them before paying. So they buy things they have no use for and the money goes to the Bulgarian company. In one case, a customer ordered a leather jacket for €100 and received a wrench. The authorities are advising customers to check the contents of the package they receive before paying for it. If they have not ordered anything, they should refuse to accept the goods. The information was provided by BNR's correspondent in Greece, Katya Peeva.
