The University of Ruse is organizing a series of events aimed at its foreign students. The aim of the initiative is for young people to get acquainted with Bulgarian traditions, culture, history and customs, as well as to join the educational process and social life in Bulgaria.
Not only foreign students studying at the University of Ruse will participate, but also their colleagues from the University of Telecommunications and Post in Sofia, the Medical University in Pleven and the Technical University in Varna. The program started on December 12 with an "Evening of Foreign Students" and an introduction to the city of Ruse and the university, as well as a presentation of the different countries from which the participants come.
A cultural and historical program is also planned with a presentation of Bulgarian history and culture at the Ruse Historical Museum. There will also be a demonstration of Bulgarian dances and customs. Participants will also have the opportunity to make their own souvenirs in the creative workshops.
