Weather forecast: More rain and snow

During the night there will be clouds and the precipitation will spread to the entire territory of the country – rain in most parts and snow in the mountains and the mountain regions.

On Sunday morning there may be black ice in some parts, mostly on higher ground in the Western part of the country. There will be a light to moderate wind from the West-Southwest. Minimum temperatures zero to 5° C., for Sofia around zero. The precipitation will stop from the Northwest. Over Northwestern Bulgaria the clouds will disperse but will continue over the rest of the country. The wind will turn from the West-Northwest and will be moderate, in Northern Bulgaria and the Upper Thracian Plain – temporarily strong. Maximum temperatures 4-9° C., for Sofia around 4° C.

Over the mountains there will be significant clouds and in many parts – snow. There will be a moderate, temporarily strong wind from the Northwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 1° C., at 2,000 m. around 3° C., below zero.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be significant clouds and rain in some parts – mostly over the Sothern portion of the coastline. The rain will stop from the North-Northwest and the clouds will scatter. Maximum temperatures 9-11° C., temperature of the sea water 10-11° C., sea state 2-3.
