The making of knitted products is a traditional craft that deserves a revival and a new life, believes Alexandrina Pandurska, known for her numerous initiatives to popularize cultural and historical places in the Blagoevgrad region. According to her idea, an informal association of knitters from the Bulgarian Southwest will be created.

The first meeting of people who carry the art of knitting in their hearts will be held on December 22 in Blagoevgrad.

The event will bring together both experienced craftsmen and novice enthusiasts who want to take their first steps with needles in their hands or simply spend time in a creative atmosphere.

According to Alexandrina Pandurska, knitting can be not only a hobby, but also a means of finding inner peace and building a community.
