With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Arsenii of Sliven, a copy of the miraculous Athonite icon of the Most Holy Theotokos "She Who is Quick to Hear" was welcomed at the Saint George the Victorious Monastery in Pomorie.
The Bulgarian Patriarchate notes on its website that the image of the Mother of God is an exact replica of the miraculous Athonite icon, which is located in the Dochiariou Monastery on Mount Athos. The copy was painted by Athonite monks, consecrated before the original in the central church of the Dochiariou Monastery and will remain in the monastery in Pomorie forever.
