Traffic on the Danube Bridge near Bulgaria's Ruse on the border with Romania has been temporarily restored in both directions as of today. Due to the expected increased traffic through the border crossing during the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, it has been decided to suspend the bridge's repairs.

From January 8, 2025, the bridge's major repairs will continue. The work process will be organized and carried out in such a way that vehicles will pass in stages, in both directions, in the lane where work is not being done, the Road Infrastructure Agency reports.
