Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 22 December 2024

Sunny spells, stop of rain and snowfall on Sunday

Sunny weather will prevail on Sunday. There will be more significant cloudiness before noon over the northeastern regions, and after noon in places in southeastern Bulgaria. There will be a moderate westerly-northwesterly wind. Minimum temperatures will be between minus 3°C and 2°C, in Sofia - around minus 3°C. 

Maximum temperatures will be between 3 and 8°C, in the capital - 2°C.

It will be mostly sunny in the mountains. There will be a moderate to strong westerly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be 1°C, at 2,000 m. - around minus 4°C.

It will be sunny along the Black Sea coast. There will be more significant cloudiness before noon over the northern regions, and after noon in places in the southern regions. Maximum temperatures will be from 7 to 10°C. 

On Monday, the cloudiness will increase again quickly and it will rain from the west.

In the Balkans, precipitation will temporarily stop and the cloudiness in the central regions of the peninsula will break and decrease to mostly sunny intervals. The cloudiness will remain more significant along the Adriatic coast and the Aegean Sea. 

In Athens daytime highs will be 14°C, in Bucharest and Belgrade - 7°C, in Istanbul - 10°C.
