Monday will be cloudy and windy

During the night, the cloud cover will increase from the west, but there will still be no precipitation. The weather will remain clear in the eastern parts of the country. The lowest temperatures will range from minus 3°C to 2°C, slightly higher in the southeastern regions of the country, for Sofia around minus 3°C.

On Monday, it will be cloudy and windy. There will be moderate to strong southerly and southeasterly winds. After midday, it will start raining in Western Bulgaria, and by evening, it will start raining in Central Bulgaria as well. Significant precipitation is expected in Southwestern Bulgaria and the southern parts of Haskovo and Kardzhali districts. It will snow in the Pre- Balkans and the high fields in Western Bulgaria. Rain is in the forecast for the rest of the country. However, by evening, the rain will turn into snow in the remaining areas of Western Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures will range from 4°C to 9°C, around 3°C in Sofia. Precipitation will continue through the night into Tuesday.

In the mountains, the weather will be cloudy, windy and with snow showers. Significant snowfall is expected in the massifs of Southwestern Bulgaria and the Rhodope Mountains. There will be moderate to strong southerly and southwesterly winds. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 3°C, at 2,000 meters around minus 2°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be partly cloudy in the morning. Clouds will increase after midday, but no precipitation is expected. There will be moderate to strong southerly and southeasterly winds. Daytime highs will range from 7°C to 10°C. The seawater temperature is 10°C-12°C.
