Karlos Nasar has become the best weightlifter in the world for 2024. During the year, with Olympic and world records, the Bulgarian weightlifter became European champion, world champion and Olympic champion.

“I received another award that I had been waiting for a long time. Before, I could not win it because of Lasha Talakhadze, who was the winner, but the moment came when I succeeded. This is a huge award for me and I am really happy with this achievement of mine. Thank you for supporting me all the time,”  Karlos Nasar said.

He recently won the “Sports Icarus” award and is currently a main contender for the “Athlete of the Year” award.
