The 22nd edition of the "Bulgarian Christmas" charity performance will take place tonight at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre. The initiative is held under the auspices of Bulgaria’s Head of State. The theme of the campaign is "Giving Hope to a Child in Need". The aim is to raise funds for the provision of high-tech equipment for early diagnosis and treatment.
"I am confident that this year many Bulgarians will again open their hearts and make it possible for thousands of children to receive timely diagnosis and treatment", said President Rumen Radev, who will attend the charity performance together with his wife Desislava Radeva.
Prominent Bulgarian singers, including Veselin Marinov, Dicho, Teddy Katzarova and Konstantin Georgiev-Kalki, will participate in the concert. They will perform beloved Bulgarian songs together with the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, conducted by George Miltiyadoff.
