Merry Christmas, dear compatriots! On today's great Christian holiday, I wish every Bulgarian home to be filled with health and well-being. This is what Bulgarian President Rumen Radev wrote on Facebook.

"Let us preserve a piece of the warmth of the bright holidays in the New Year. I wish the hope, faith and unity that the Nativity of Christ symbolizes to be companions of all of us. Only united can we preserve our traditions and build a worthy future for Bulgaria," the President also wrote.

"May we all be alive and healthy. May all Bulgarians be more united and work for a more stable Bulgaria, with more prosperity," this was also wished for the holiday by Bulgarian Caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, who attended the liturgy in the St. Nedelya Church in Sofia.
