Dozens of villages in Central Bulgaria are still without electricity, water and connection to mobile operators networks. The teams of the electricity distribution company in the Veliko Tarnovo region resumed their work this morning to eliminate the electricity cuts in the Elena Balkan and in the Republic Pass.
In the Elena municipality, which is the most seriously affected, dozens of villages and hamlets still do not have electricity, water and connection to mobile operators.

Around the Republic Pass, there are settlements where the connection to mobile operators has also been suspended. The roads on the republican road network in the region have been cleared to asphalt and treated against icing. There are no people in distress.

In Gabrovo and the region, thousands of families in 50 villages and hamlets are without electicity because of the technical failures in the network caused by the wet snow.

There are villages without electricity supplu also around Lovech, where there is no water supply due to a damaged main water pipe.

In Southern Bulgaria, there is also a power outage in several Rhodope villages

In Sofia, the roads to Vitosha were closed for cleaning last night, and the capital's municipality announced that it would sanction the company that did not complete its work.
