Energo Pro: Almost all damages to the electrical facilities have been repaired

More than 98% of the identified damages to the electrical facilities have already been repaired, said Energo Pro. Emergency teams continue their efforts to restore electricity to dozens of villages in the regions of Gabrovo and Targovishte and Gorna Oryahovitsa municipality.

Most of the damages were repaired yesterday, but the snowy conditions continue to cause problems, as the wet snow is causing trees to fall onto power lines, leading to new damage to the electrical facilities, the company added.

Over 250 electricians are trying to reach the affected areas. Despite the provision of additional equipment, some of the damaged power lines are located in rough terrain and access to them is only possible on foot. Additionally, there are fallen concrete and steel lattice poles, the replacement of which requires more technological time.
