Traditionally, the citizens of Sofia and guests to the capital can welcome the New Year 2025 together at the central Knyaz Alexander I Battenberg Square. The celebration today, December 31, begins at 21.30. Some of the most popular Bulgarian pop and rock stars will be on stage - the bands Factor, the Foundation, Kerana and the Cosmonauts, the singers Stanley, Maria Chakardakova and others. An impressive light show is planned for midnight.

New Year concerts will be held throughout the country.

In Varna, the programme starts at 22:00 on December 31 and lasts until 02:30 on January 1 in Independence Square.

In Burgas, people will gather at Troikata Square at 22.30 on December 31. More than 2,500 glasses of wine and the same number of fortune cookies will be provided for the New Year.

The citizens of Plovdiv will gather on the stage at Stefan Stambolov Square in front of the Municipality building between 10pm and 2am.
