New equipment will ensure even faster, safer and more efficient baggage handling at Sofia Airport, the airport has reported. The system has already been delivered and preparations for its installation are underway.
The system has a capacity of 2,400 bags per hour. It will ensure the safe and efficient management of millions of checked bags per year, the airport said.
The project is worth more than 10 million euros.
