The latest Bulgarian film "Before I Forget" can be seen in cinemas from today. It depicts the sad reality of one of the most common modern diseases - dementia.

Screenwriter Teodora Stoilova-Doncheva was inspired by real events. The film is directed by Stanislav Donchev. The leading roles are played by Ivan Savov and Alexandra Dimitrova.

"Before I Forget" tells the story of Stoyan, who suffers from dementia, and his daughter Iliana, who organizes a final trip for her father to meet his sister and other relatives. Her son Vesko will amass valuable memories with his grandfather, who will soon no longer recognize them.

"Memory may be gone, but love remains", is the line from the film that the artistic team stands behind.
