I have not committed any crime, this is a political attack, the co-chairman of "We Continue the Change" (PP), Kiril Petkov, said before entering the Prosecutor's Office. Outside the building there were PP sympathizers and MPs who applauded Petkov. The MP has been charged over an unlawful arrest ordered 3 years ago when he was prime minister. At that time, the MP and leader of then opposition party GERB Boyko Borisov was arrested.

Petkov accused the prosecutor's office of carrying out political orders. "I am ready to face any court, but I have no trust in the prosecutor's office. The law was not violated," Petkov said, adding that he was imposed a measure of restriction – signature bond. PP co-chairman Asen Vassilev told bTV that they would not support a cabinet composed of GERB, BSP and ITN.
