Weather forecast: Cold Thursday morning with daytime highs around and below 0°C

On Thursday morning, visibility will be reduced in some areas in the valleys and around the water bodies. After noon, the cloud cover will break up and decrease. It will be mostly sunny over Eastern Bulgaria. The lowest temperatures will range from minus 7°C to minus 2°C, around minus 5°C in Sofia. The maximum temperatures will be between 0°C and 5°C, for Sofia around 0°C.

In the mountains, the cloud cover will be mostly significant before noon. There will be light snow in some places in Western Bulgaria and the Rila-Rhodope Massif. After noon, the cloud cover will break up and decrease to mostly sunny weather. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be minus 2°C, at 2,000 m, around minus 6°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, visibility will be reduced in some places along in the morning. Before noon, the cloud cover will be significant, but it will start to break up and decrease around midday. It will be mostly sunny in the afternoon hours. Daytime highs will range from 4°C to 6°C. The sea water temperature is 8°C-10°C. Sea swell 1-2.

On Friday and Saturday, it will be mostly sunny in the mountains and the mountainous areas. In the plains, the weather on Friday morning will still be calm, with fog or low clouds in many places.
