After it became clear that the prospective cabinet would be backed by a coalition of GERB-SDS, There is Such a People and BSP, Premier-designate Rosen Zhelyazkov explained that the political responsibility would be shared by all participants in the coalition. The new three-party coalition also has the support of the Democracy, Rights and Freedoms-DPS led by Ahmed Dogan. "Everyone made concessions to their ideological beliefs so that Bulgaria could have a majority", said Rosen Zhelyazkov. He announced that the №1 priority for the future cabinet would be to request a convergence report so that Bulgaria can join the eurozone. The new government will also submit a new draft state budget for 2025.

The coalition has not agreed to include Ahmed Dogan's DPS in the government in order to avoid becoming a lightning rod for the tensions that have divided the party between supporters of Ahmed Dogan and those of Delyan Peevski, Rosen Zhelyazkov further explained.
