Bulgaria is participating with its national pavilion at the largest international exhibition for food, agriculture and horticulture, the 2025 Berlin International Green Week.

The Bulgarian delegation to the event was led by Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Food Lozana Vassileva and Deyan Stratev. The German Minister of Food and Agriculture, Cem Özdemir, the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner, and the European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food, Christophe Hansen, attended the official opening of the Bulgarian stand. They all praised the products on display.

"Bulgaria is world famous for its essential oils, especially rose oil, and we are first in lavender production," Lozana Vassileva told the media.

This is the 34th time that Bulgaria has participated in this prestigious event, which brings together leading food producers from around the world. This year the country presented a variety of canned fruits and vegetables, essential oils, honey and bee products, yoghurt, white buffalo cheese, cheese, sujuk sausage, fish products, nuts, wines, organic drinks and others.
