Snowboard World Cup in Bansko

A total of 135 competitors from 19 countries will compete in the VISA FIS Snowboard Alpine World Cup in Bansko this weekend, January 18-19.

Bulgaria will be represented by its top snowboarders, led by Radoslav Yankov, the country's only FIS World Cup winner. The official opening of the event took place on Friday.

Access to the stands and the finish area is free for all visitors to the Bansko resort. 

The event will take place on the Banderishka meadow. On Saturday, the qualification races will start at 9:00 and the finals at 13:00. On Sunday, the qualification starts at 10:00, followed by the final at 14:15.
