"My relations with the new government depend on how it will uphold the national interest and how it will work so that Bulgarians have much better living conditions, and our country - conditions for development". This was stated to journalists in Bansko, commenting on the political situation in the country, President Rumen Radev, who attended the Snowboarding World Cup competitions.

"We will soon find out whether the new majority and opposition will truly deal with the pressing problems of society or will occupy us with themselves and their intimate relationships. If they choose the latter, the patience of Bulgarians may very quickly run out", the President pointed out.

He nevertheless expressed hope that Bulgaria will finally be able to overcome the political and institutional crisis.
