Good conditions for mountain tourism

The weather in the mountains is sunny with light wind in some places, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross reports. However, icing is possible on some of the mountain paths. In places on the ridges there is moderate wind and temperatures are between 0 and 5 °C. In Borovets the weather is calm, the snow cover is 150 - 160 cm. Temperatures are between 3 and 8°C. In the Bansko resort, the most snow is on Todorka - 185 cm and the Plateau -170 cm. There is moderate wind in the higher parts. In Pamporovo the weather is calm and sunny, the most snow is on Studenets - 110 cm. In Stara Planina the weather is calm and clear.
