In a letter to the institutions, Podkrepa Trade Union made proposals for the introduction of a non-taxable minimum, as well as an update of minimum and maximum social security incomes. The union also insists on the preparation of an analysis and updating of the minimum wage, as well as raising the salaries of employees in the public sector by at least 10%.

Speaking to BNT, Podkrepa Trade Union President Dimitar Manolov indicated that together with the experts in the union they will insist on getting acquainted with the parameters of the financial framework as soon as possible. Manolov recalled that since 2008, Podkrepa Trade Union has been insisting on the introduction of a non-taxable minimum, because practice shows that the tax system in our country is not good. Manolov pointed out that in front of the media all party leaders agree on this issue, but when it comes to taking action, no one finds the strength to do so.
